Whether you're in charge of snacks during the day or trying to pick a semi-healthy option for the potluck, these fourth of July strawberries are perfect! They're actually great for Memorial Day and Labor Day too...and if you tweak the colors they'll work for any holiday or party.
Chocolate dipped strawberries have the flavor mix and are a fun way to level up your dessert table with minimal effort. You only need a few ingredients and 15-20 minutes for this treat! I'm sharing two different ways to dip your strawberries, a fun marbled effect as well as a method with sprinkles.

- Rocket Popsicle- A Bomb Pop Made with Real Fruit
Ingredients
- strawberries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting chocolate (more if doing a larger batch)
- blue food coloring
- blue sprinkles- I recommend the sanding sugar
Sprinkle Dipped Strawberries
- Start by washing and drying your strawberries.
- Melt your chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave.
- Dip your strawberry into the melted white chocolate.
- Dip into your blue sprinkles.
- Lay on parchment paper or set aside to dry. Putting in the refrigerator will help expedite the chocolate hardening.
- These are best served the same day they were made.
I recommend using your finger to push in the sprinkles on the edge of the chocolate for a smoother line. Totally a preference.
Marbled Strawberries- How to Make Them
- Wash and dry your strawberries.
- Melt your white chocolate in 30-second intervals until thin. Add a few drips of food coloring and swirl it together with a knife or spoon.
- Note- for this part you'll want to work a bit more quickly. Food coloring can make melted chocolate harden.
- Dip your strawberry into the bowl and swirl it around a bit to get your desired coverage.
- Place strawberry on wax or parchment paper to allow the chocolate to harden. Putting them in the fridge will help expedite this process.
- These are best served the same day they were made.
Tips
- While you can use chocolate chips for this, I recommend a melting chocolate. I like the Ghiradelli brand.
- For the ones with sprinkles, pat down the edges to give it a crisper line.
- Allowing them to dry in the fridge will help them dry faster.
- If your dipping chocolate hardens, add a bit of coconut oil and stir.
