Cotton Candy S'mores

Cotton candy and s'mores are two of the best desserts or treats around. Each either remind me of a carnival or just of summer in general and are such nostalgic treats! Now, I have never been a big fan of peeps, but when I saw that they came out with cotton candy peeps, I knew I could do something fun with them and this idea for cotton candy s'mores was born. You could use regular or flavored peeps or marshmallows too, but, if there's a cotton candy peeps option available why wouldn't you want to try it? 🙂

I know peeps are polarizing, you either love or hate them... but for this recipe just think of them as a festive marshmallow. And if you still can't get there... watch them expand and blob and it's sure to be entertaining and slightly satisfying.

How to make your cotton candy s'more

You could have a bonfire or campout, or, if this is just a fun treat, the microwave will work. And, may I say... there is something kind of fun about watching the peeps in a microwave. But here's how to make these at home in under 2 minutes! This makes 2 cotton candy s'mores.

  1. Break your graham cracker into two pieces
  2. Layer each graham cracker with chocolate (I used half of a mini Hershey's bar on each side)
  3. Place your cotton candy peep onto the graham cracker
  4. Microwave the peep (15-30 seconds depending on your microwave).
  5. Add the top of the graham cracker and enjoy!
