Make a balloon cloud as a decoration for your party, shower or event. This is a simple craft that's easy to make for any skill level.
Prep Time10 minutes
Active Time30 minutes
Yield: 1 cloud
Cost: $5

Equipment

  • 1 electric balloon pump

Materials

  • 1 18-inch white balloons
  • 6-8 11-inch balloons
  • 12 5-inch balloons
  • 2 skinny balloons (like you use for making balloon animals)
  • 3 Size 19 rubberbands

Instructions

  • Start by determining what size of a cloud you want and then group and blow up your balloons. Blow them up 2 at a time using your electric balloon pump and tie together.
  • Create 2 clusters of balloons using your 11-inch balloons and use one cluster incorporating 11-inch and an 18-inch balloon.
  • Blow up your mini balloons and similarly create clusters of 4 balloons.
  • Using your first cluster, tie a long/skinny balloon to one of the balloon knots. Repeat and tie your balloon clusters together.
  • Take a rubberband and twist it around your mini balloons. Stretch the rubberband around the base cluster (larger balloon sizes) and twist to achieve desired look.
