- 1 cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoon butter
- ⅓ cup heavy whipping cream
- dash vanilla extract
combine water, salt, and sugar over medium heat
allow sugar to dissolve while stirring
once sugar is dissolved, allow mixture to boil continuously until reaching a light golden brown color
immediately remove from heat and stir in cream, butter and vanilla
once fully mixed, pour into a heat safe container
