Today was one of those days where the whole family stayed inside and we spent some quality time together at home. I decided to throw a simmer pot on the stove and it made our house smell amazing! This orange simmer pot is citrusy, spicy and decadent. If you're wanting to make a fall simmer pot, see my recipe below.
What is a simmer pot?
A simmer pot is simply fruits and spices covered in water that are left to "simmer" on the stove for hours. They are a non toxic option for replacing scented candles and will fill the whole house with a lovely aroma. This orange simmer pot recipe is incredibly easy to throw together- I suggest using it for your next party or event! Here is the simmer pot I use. I love that it is glass and I can see the fruit and spices in the pot! Any regular pot will work for this fall simmer pot recipe, however.
