This Christmas is going to be extra special because it's our first married Christmas! We're so excited to decorate our home and make it feel extra cozy. I've been so inspired by modern boho decor in general for our new home, so I really wanted a modern boho Christmas feel as well. I love a simple and clean aesthetic and this tree really achieves that feel!
Neutral Christmas Tree Decor
I am obsessed with white and neutral decor. In fact, our entire house is different shades of white and beige. Think homey hospital vibes..lol. So its no surprise that all I wanted for our boho Christmas tree decor was different shades and textures of white ornaments, with splashes of natural wooden tones. My first thought was this will be SO easy! but nope. I was wrong. Finding all white, neutral Christmas decor was super challenging for me! I'm so excited to share the final result with you all!
We ended up going for a faux Christmas tree (even though I want to make it clear that I am team REAL tree)! Marriage is funny and full of compromise, so Ben got his way with this one. I do have to say that I am happy with our tree and holiday decor! It was affordable, easy to set up and it looks really nice once the branches are fluffed! We purchased the 6ft pre-lit option. You can find it here!
White Boho Christmas Ornaments
I found these gorgeous white snowflakes and they really bring out the boho feel to my tree. These are some of my favorite little guys! They are made of a sturdy card stock and they come folded but fan out nicely once out of the package. I am interested to see how they hold up over the years but they add a nice touch without breaking the bank!
If you are looking for a textured white Christmas ornament, look no further than these bone china ball ornaments. They are beautiful, delicate, and add the perfect touch of texture to a tree! I am obsessed!!! They also come in this open drop shape and the two together are just stunning on a tree! These are slightly more expensive than I would usually spend for an ornament but they are so worth it in my opinion! I only bought a few of them and layered with more affordable ones.
Speaking of more affordable ornaments, I found these solid white pinecones and fell in love! They are heavy and durable, but also add another layer of texture to the tree.
To finish off my tree decor, I added a few natural wooden elements. These little cork Christmas trees are a great price and they add an earthy element with a bit of sparkle! I also added a wooden garland with different sized wooden balls. There are so many options for wooden garlands, but I liked the different sized balls to add another element of interest. Each garland was 118 inches and I needed three of them for our 6 ft tree.
I found this gorgeous rattan tree topper and I absolutely love the vibe it gives the tree. It's the perfect finishing touch to give my tree the modern boho Christmas feel I wanted.
There are so many cute options for tree skirts! This one is from Marshalls, but here is one that is similar! I loved this one because its pretty simple with a little bit of fringe.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my modern boho Christmas tree decor. Let me know which ornaments are your favorites! If you're interested in more boho decor check out my wedding arch DIY- it was a labor of love but totally worth it!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!
