Equipment

  • 1 baking tray
  • 1 toothpick per grape

Ingredients

  • 2 cups green grapes or red if you prefer
  • 3 tablespoon jello mix, in preferred flavor can also use a variety of colors/flavors.
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Wash your grapes and take off the stems. Rinse them off in a colander but keep the grapes wet, don't allow to dry completely.
  • Open your jello packets and put the powder in a clear bowl, one bowl per color. I only used about ¼ of the packet of each color and made 8-10 grapes in each color, and still had powder left over.
  • Put the grapes in a bowl filled with water. You can also use a glass of water and use them one at a time, I just found a bowl to be quicker and more convenient.
  • Take a grape and add it to a toothpick. You can also use your hands to roll each color if you don't have toothpicks or if you're in a rush.
  • Dip the wet grape into the jello powder and coat the grape by rolling it around a bit.
  • Place the now coated grape onto the paper towel or parchment paper on your baking pan.
  • Once you've filled your baking sheet, put the grapes in the freezer for a minimum of an hour. The longer the better.
  • Try out various flavor combinations to find your favorite! Store in the freezer.

Notes

If you're only using one color/flavor and are in a rush you can add the jello powder to a gallon-sized ziploc baggie and add your grapes. Shake the bag and/or roll it around to coat the grapes.
