How to make an Anthropologie pom pom wreath

This easy tutorial shows how to make an anthropologie inspired pom pom wreath at home!
Prep Time2 hours 30 minutes
Keyword: christmas pom pom wreath, pom pom wreath
Yield: 1 Wreath
Cost: $20

Equipment

  • 3 different sized pom pom maker tool
  • pair of craft scissors
  • hot glue gun
  • 12 inch foam ring

Materials

  • 4 skeins of yarn in any color- I used three different colors

Instructions

  • Make the pom poms with the pom pom maker tool. I made a total of 13 large, 10 medium, and 13 small pom poms
  • Take some leftover yarn and loop it onto the foam ring at the top of the ring, making a loop "hanger" for the wreath.
  • Create a zig zag pattern around the foam ring using the largest sized pom poms on the wreath. Each pom pom should be close enough to touch the other without gaps, but not too close.
  • Once satisfied with the placement of the pom poms, hot glue into place using about a pea sized amount of glue. Press firmly onto the foam ring until the glue dries
  • Using the medium sized pom poms, fill in the gaps around the large pom poms, using a similar zig zag pattern. Glue the poms onto the foam ring once satisified with placement.
  • Lastly, take the smallest sized pom poms and fill in anywhere there are gaps on the foam ring. Use these to make the pom pom "fluffy" and full looking. There should be no more visible foam on the inner, outer, or front of the foam ring once finished.
  • Hang the wreath and admire how cute it is!!!
